Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated October 29, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") describes what you may and may not do with Presap (the "Service"). It forms part of our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.
In short: use Presap to manage your own Business Profiles honestly. Never fake, buy, filter or suppress reviews, never publish anything misleading, and review what the AI writes for you.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to every person who uses the Service through your workspace, and to all content published, sent or stored through it, whether you write it, approve it, or let the Service publish it automatically under rules you switch on. You are responsible for the conduct of your workspace members.
2. Reviews and review requests
Reviews must reflect genuine experiences of real customers. The U.S. Federal Trade Commission's rule on consumer reviews and testimonials (16 CFR Part 465) and Google's review policies apply to you. You must not, directly or through the Service:
- write, buy, sell or procure reviews that do not reflect a real customer's actual experience, including reviews generated by AI or written by you, your staff or anyone acting for you;
- offer or give anything of value — discounts, gifts, refunds, entries into a draw, or other incentives — in exchange for a review, or make an incentive depend on the review being positive;
- "gate" reviews: screen customers first and ask only satisfied customers to review you on Google, or discourage or prevent customers from leaving negative reviews;
- review your own business or a competitor, or ask employees, relatives or business partners to do so without the disclosure the law requires;
- suppress or remove genuine reviews through threats, intimidation, false accusations, or by flagging them as violations when they are not;
- misrepresent that the reviews you display represent all or most of the reviews you received, when negative reviews are being withheld;
- exchange reviews with other businesses, or use review links or QR codes to direct requests to people who were never your customers.
Review links and QR codes created in the Service must be offered to all customers in the same way, whatever experience they had.
3. Replies to reviews
- Replies must be honest and relevant to the review. Do not promise things you will not deliver.
- Do not disclose a reviewer's personal or confidential information (for example details of their order, health or account) beyond what they chose to make public.
- Do not harass, threaten, mock or retaliate against reviewers, accuse them falsely, threaten legal action without a valid basis, or reply with discriminatory or defamatory content.
- Do not use replies to advertise unrelated offers, add links or phone numbers that Google does not allow, or insert keyword stuffing.
4. Posts, photos and profile information
- Business information (name, address, hours, phone number, categories, services and prices) must be accurate and represent a real business that you are authorized to manage.
- Posts and offers must be truthful, with any material conditions disclosed. Do not publish fake urgency, bait offers or prices you do not honor.
- Do not publish content that is illegal, sexually explicit, violent, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, or that promotes regulated or restricted goods and services where Google's policies or the law prohibit it.
- Only upload photos you own or are licensed to use. If a photo shows identifiable people, you must have their permission where the law requires it. Do not upload photos of customers, children or private places without consent.
5. AI-generated content
- AI drafts can be wrong. Check facts, offers, prices and claims before you approve them, and decide carefully which ratings and posts you allow to publish automatically.
- Do not instruct the Service to generate content that is deceptive, defamatory, infringing, discriminatory or that impersonates another person or business.
- Do not present an AI-generated image as a real photo of your premises, products, team, customers or results. The Service marks images it generates; keep that distinction in what you publish.
- Do not use the Service, or its output, to train or improve a competing AI model or product.
6. Messages to your customers
When you share review links or QR codes, or otherwise contact your customers, you are the sender. You must comply with the laws on commercial messages and calls, including the CAN-SPAM Act for email and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and state law for text messages and calls: obtain any required consent, identify your business, and honor opt-out requests.
7. Google accounts and policies
- Connect only Google accounts and Business Profile locations that you are authorized to manage.
- Follow Google's Terms of Service and the Google Business Profile policies, including its prohibited and restricted content policies and its guidelines for representing your business.
- Do not use the Service to get around a suspension, restriction or verification requirement that Google applied to a profile.
8. Security and integrity of the Service
You must not:
- share sign-in details or let people outside your workspace use your account;
- access or try to access data, accounts or locations you are not authorized to access;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or bypass its security, authentication, rate limits or plan limits;
- upload malware, or interfere with or overload the Service or the systems of our providers;
- scrape, copy, decompile or reverse engineer the Service, except as the law expressly allows;
- forward assistant emails to others or post their links publicly: the buttons and replies in those emails act on your behalf.
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please report it to [email protected] and give us a reasonable time to fix it before disclosing it.
9. Compliance with law
You must use the Service in compliance with all laws that apply to you and your business, including consumer protection, advertising, privacy, anti-discrimination and intellectual property laws, and U.S. export control and sanctions laws.
10. Enforcement
If we reasonably believe that this Policy has been violated, we may remove or decline to publish the content concerned, switch off automatic publishing, suspend review-request features, or suspend or terminate the account or workspace, as described in the Terms. Where reasonable we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the issue, but we may act immediately to prevent harm, to comply with the law or with Google's requirements. We may report illegal activity to the authorities.
11. Reporting a violation
To report a suspected violation of this Policy, email [email protected] with the details. Copyright complaints follow the procedure in the Terms of Service.
